This course provides real estate professionals with a practical understanding of surveys, plats, easements, rights-of-way, and common boundary issues that can impact a transaction. Agents will learn the different types of surveys used in residential and commercial real estate, when surveys are recommended or required, how to identify potential encroachments and easement concerns, and how these issues can affect title, financing, property use, and negotiations. Through real-world examples and discussion of common transaction challenges, participants will gain the knowledge needed to better protect their clients and confidently navigate survey-related questions before closing.
